Experiential Learning through the 'CBSE Kaushal Bodh Project'

*"The love of gardening is a seed once sown that never dies."*
With *great curiosity and a passion for learning*, the students of *Class VI, Vardhman Academy, Railway Road, Meerut*, embarked on a remarkable journey of experiential learning through the *CBSE Kaushal Bodh Project*. As the first step towards developing practical life skills, the students visited *Nursery* to explore the fascinating world of plants, gardening, and sustainable living.
The educational visit provided a wonderful opportunity for students to gain firsthand knowledge about a wide variety of plants, gardening tools, and both traditional and modern horticultural practices. They eagerly interacted with experts and learned about soil preparation, plant care, watering techniques, vermicomposting, kitchen garden planning, harvesting methods, and the importance of eco-friendly and sustainable practices. This enriching hands-on experience enhanced their observation skills, curiosity, and scientific thinking while fostering a deep sense of environmental responsibility.
Inspired by this memorable learning experience, the students are now prepared to transform knowledge into action by developing and nurturing their own *School Kitchen Garden* within the school campus. Through this initiative, they will sow seeds, care for plants, observe every stage of growth, and experience the joy of harvesting with their own hands. More than just growing vegetables, this project will cultivate values of *patience, teamwork, responsibility, perseverance, and environmental consciousness*. It beautifully bridges classroom learning with real-life experiences, empowering students to become responsible individuals who respect nature and contribute towards building a greener and more sustainable future.
