Nutrition Week on World Health Dayy

INVESTING IN HEALTH TODAY WILL LEAD TO A BRIGHTER AND HEALTHIER FUTURE TOMORROW.
Vardhaman Academy, Railway Road, Meerut is excited to celebrate Nutrition Week on World Health Day with its kindergarten students. As part of this initiative, students will learn about the importance of healthier and nutritious food, and how it can benefit their overall well-being.
The celebration was started by providing students with a diet chart that outlines the essential nutrients required for a healthy diet. This chart  served as a guide for parents  to send nutritious food  in their ward's lunch box to school every day for a week. It's main aim is to educate students about the benefits of eating a balanced diet and the risks associated with consuming junk food.
To encourage healthy eating habits in them a special screening was organized to initialism the importance of nutritious food. To make it a experiential learning  a demo session was conducted where students were shown how to cut fruits and vegetables and prepare a delicious salad, making it a fun and interactive experience.
To reinforce the importance of healthy eating, a fruit and salad chart will be displayed in the classroom. This chart will showcase a variety of fruits and vegetables, highlighting their nutritional benefits and how they can be incorporated into our daily diet.
The objectives of this initiative are to:
- Educate students about the importance of nutritious food.
- Encourage students to develop healthy eating habits.
- Provide students with a diet chart to guide their food choices.
- Make learning fun and interactive through demo sessions and screenings.
Our esteemed principal Ms. Rupali Chaudhary also advised  students to eat healthy and nutritious food as it will help improve their concentration and focus power and will boost their immune system.
By celebrating Nutrition Week on World Health Day, the students were empowered with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed choices about their diet and lifestyle.
