National Sports Day

Vardhman Academy, Railway Road, Meerut, celebrated National Sports Day on 29th August 2025, with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event began with a warm welcome to Honourable Secretary, Shri Rituraj Jain, and other esteemed members of the management committee by our respected principal ma'am.
A respectful tribute was paid to the legendary hockey player, Major Dhyan Chand, whose birthday is commemorated as National Sports Day in India.
The skating team then presented an electrifying performance, showcasing impressive stunts and welcoming the esteemed guests with their synchronized moves.
This was followed by a captivating Karate presentation, where students demonstrated self-defense techniques and various other performances including ice-breaking sequences that left the audience amazed.
The main event featured thrilling inter-house matches, including:
- Inter-house Volleyball matches for Classes IX-XII (boys and girls)
- Inter-house Kabaddi matches for Classes VI-VIII (boys and girls)
These matches showcased the students' teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship, making the event a grand success.
Principal Ms. Rupali Chaudhary motivated the students and said, "National Sports Day is a celebration of our sporting spirit. I encourage students to embrace sports, develop their skills, and strive for excellence. Let's make sports an integral part of our lives and aim for a healthier, more disciplined future."
