On the occasion of World Health Day, a special class activity titled "My Healthy Diet" was organized at Vardhman Academy, Railway Road, Meerut for the students of Classes 1 to 5. The primary aim of this activity was to instill awareness about the importance of nutritious food and to encourage healthy eating habits among children.
Students enthusiastically participated in a series of fun and educational activities, including:
* Fruit Salad Decorations
* Vegetable Sandwich
* Healthy Bhel
* Sprout Salad Making
These activities allowed the students to creatively explore the idea of a balanced diet while learning about the nutritional value of various fruits, vegetables, and healthy snacks. The classrooms were abuzz with excitement as students prepared and presented their colorful, healthy dishes.
The event highlighted the significance of incorporating fruits, sprouts, and vegetables into our daily meals. Teachers guided the students throughout the activity, explaining the benefits of each food group and encouraging them to make healthy choices in their everyday lives.
Principal Mrs. Rupali Chaudhary appreciated the students for their active involvement and creativity. She said:
